In 2015 Team Premier had an excellent season sailing on the 2nd Premier Dragon prototype. Their season started with a 3rd place at the Italian Championship in San Remo, followed by 2 first places at two Grade One events, the 20th H.M. King Juan Carlos Trophy in Cascais and the Grand Prix Guyader in Douarnenez, France.
Even though Team Premier was disqualified in one race at the 2015 Worlds, due to a black flag start they still achieved an overall 5th place. Following the Worlds, Team Premier achieved a 2nd place at the 2015 European Championship in Bastad Sweden, a 4th place at the German Grand Prix in Kuehlungsborn and a 5th place at the 2015 Gold Cup.
Team Premier ended their seaosn on this Dragon with a 3rd place at the Hans-Detmar Wagner Cup in Torbole, Italy and a 3rd place in the 2015 International Dragon Ranking List.
The 2nd Premier Dragon prototype was named Bunker Queen and sailed under the sail number UAE 7.
This prototype was helmed by Markus Wieser (Transbunker Sailing Team) and raced for the first time at the Marblehead Trophy in Kiel. After the Marblehead Trophy, Bunker Queen was shipped back to Dubai where testing continued thorughout the winter months.
During the 1st Dubai Dragon Championship, this protoype was helmed by the world ranked 4th Anatoly Loginov and achieved 3rd place.
The boat was shipped to Europe at the end of February.
